The Flip Side Café Skipton
When i got the chance to work with Hayley at the flip side cafe. My goal was to create a fun, modern, and welcoming site that reflected the café’s personality while also looking professional and easy to navigate. I designed the full layout and structure from scratch, including clear sections for essential information like opening hours, location, menu highlights, and contact details, ensuring the site worked smoothly across both desktop and mobile devices.
A major part of the project was developing a complete booking form system to make reservations and enquiries easier for both customers and staff. This included a clean, user-friendly form layout with required fields, validation, and clear submission feedback to prevent incomplete or incorrect bookings. Alongside this, I introduced a new colour scheme and consistent styling to strengthen the café’s branding and give the website a playful but polished look, ultimately giving the café a strong online identity and a more efficient way to manage bookings.
The Game Cock Inn Austwick
I completed a full redesign of The Game Cock inn’s website to modernise their online presence and better reflect the quality of the business. The existing website felt overvcomplicated and inconsistent, so I rebuilt the design with a more professional structure, improved layout, and clearer navigation. As part of this redesign, I also developed updated branding elements and improved the colour scheme to create a stronger, more recognisable identity that matched the restaurant’s atmosphere and style.
A key focus of the project was upgrading the visual impact of the website through professional photography and custom graphics. High-quality images were used to showcase the restaurant’s food and interior, helping to create a more premium and inviting first impression for customers. Alongside this, I ensured the site remained clean, easy to use, and fully responsive across mobile and desktop, resulting in a polished website that improves customer engagement and strengthens the restaurant’s brand.
